How do I make an appointment?
To book online please click the BOOK NOW link at the top of the screen. Alternatively, please call 9626 8867 to make an appointment. If the office is unattended the answering machine will be on, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as we are able.
Can I claim from my private health fund with HICAPS?
Yes, if you have private health insurance with extras cover we can process your claim through the Hicaps system, and you can pay the gap, between the rebate and the fee, with EFTPOS, cash or credit card. You will need to bring your health fund card with you each time you attend for an appointment. Most funds allow you to claim this way only on the day of treatment, if you cannot bring your card with you, you will need to pay the full fee and then claim this back from your health fund.
Do I need a Doctors referral?
No, if you are coming as a private patient a referral is not needed. If you are under Workers Compensation you will need a WorkCover Certificate from your G.P. If your G.P. has given you an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) Medicare referral, you must bring the form with you or we will have to charge you the full fee, as we need the details provided on the form to process your claim.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring copies of any referrals or notes from your Doctor regarding your condition. Please bring any scans or x-rays along with the reports. If you are covered by insurance or compensation and/or private health cover, please bring your paperwork or private fund card or Medicare card if you have an EPC referral.
What happens if I can't attend an appointment?
Please let us know as soon as you can if you cannot attend an appointment, so that we can give your appointment time to another patient. If it is out of hours please call and leave a message on the answering machine and we will return your call to reschedule your appointment. If you give us little or no notice of cancellation you may be charged a cancellation fee.
What can I expect during an appointment?
If you are a new patient please allow a few minutes before your appointment, to fill in some details. If you are a new Workers Compensation patient this can take up to 10 minutes. You can expect to have 30 minutes of individual assessment/treatment time from the Physiotherapist, this is private and confidential.
We try to book you in as close as possible to the time you need, however many people like to book the earliest or latest appointment times to fit around work commitments. Please keep this in mind and plan your bookings ahead.
